Now employed by Keokuk County Health Center, Dr. Robert Castro, MD comes to us from St. Anthony's Hospital & Clinics in Chicago.  Having graduated from the University of Iowa in 1994, Southeast Iowa is not new to him. In fact, it is the fond memories from then that bring him back to this area.  He is looking forward to enjoying the rural life that we all enjoy and appreciate.

Dr. Castro, MD is a Family Practice physician who specializes in Internal Medicine. He will practice in our hospital’s clinic and will provide Inpatient, Emergency Room and Nursing Home services.

You will be impressed by his passion, understanding and expertise. As an Internal Medicine doctor he deals with a wide scope of diseases and conditions with skill and compassion, with a focus on building patient relationships. We are exceptionally fortunate to have a physician of his capabilities in our area.
